Autumn 2012
Howdy, Folks! 8)
It's finally starting to look like fall down the shore. Although, truthfully, nothing will ever be able to top the many New England leaf-peeping seasons that I've experienced. I used to really love driving all over Massachusetts and Vermont looking at leaves -- even when I complained about all of that time behind the wheel!
My photography appears in two magazines right now: the fall/holiday issue of Jersey Shore Magazine and (drum-roll please!) on the COVER of the November/December issue of Lesbian Connection, which has international circulation (they included a nice paragraph about me along with a link to my art site). You can see the cover, featuring Awakening X, above.
As I mentioned on my September homepage, I started a doctoral program this semester. I'm thoroughly enjoying grad school -- biostatistics is kicking my butt but I'm loving (almost) every minute of it. I'm not sure what that says about me, though! 8)
Between work and school I no longer have time to maintain the rigorous exhibition schedule that I've had for years so I'm not in any shows at the moment. I am waiting to hear about one juried exhibition in Asbury Park and I'll update this site if I get in so check back occasionally for more info and new art.
Hard to believe but the holidaze are right around the corner. As always, you can purchase fine art for yourself and others from my galleries right on this site (I'm continuing my 50% off sale through December) and products containing art (t-shirts, mugs, bags, etc.) on my Zazzle site. If you don't see the image/item combo on Zazzle that you want then please email me with your request and I'll create it for you with no obligation. 8) Thanks, as always, for your support!
Have a colorful fall,
Wendy
