The Villa Hermosa is where I stayed with my friends on our visit to Alamos in Sonora, Mexico. It is one of the many traditional colonial Spanish style homes that remain from the era when Alamos was the capital of a rich silver mining region. In the week of Christmas we had the entire place to ourselves other than the family that cooked for us.
